Regular walks; to be paid following receipt of invoice. Late fees will apply for invoices not paid by due date.
Cancellation
Adhoc walks; 100% cancellation fee applies for less than 24 hours notice.
Regular walks; 100% cancellation fee applies for less than 24 hours notice, 50% fee for 24 hour to 7 days notice.
Transportation
Dogs may be transported by car to enable greater variation in walking locations, unless by individual request. Dogs from different households will always be separated for travel.
Medical emergencies
TheDogRunner is authorised to seek emergency veterinary care with release from all liabilities related to transportation, treatment, and expense.
The client will reimburse TheDogRunner for expenses incurred, plus any additional fees for attending to such emergency.
Should a specified veterinarian be unavailable, TheDogRunner is authorised to engage the services of an alternative veterinarian.
If the client cannot be contacted in a timely manner, TheDogRunner is authorised to approve medical and/or emergency treatment (excluding euthanasia) as recommended by a veterinarian, as agreed in the 'Veterinary Release Form'.
TheDogRunner is not liable for any problems that occur from a known condition, unless the condition has not been treated as required.
General
Dogs will be kept on a lead unless an 'Off Lead' form is signed by the client.
TheDogRunner must be informed of any characteristics of the dog which needs to be known for handling and care, especially any aggression issues.
Any keys held by TheDogRunner will be used for the purposes of collecting / returning dogs, and no other purpose. They will not be copied, and will be returned to clients on demand (subject to accounts being fully paid).
The client is responsible for medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to any person or animal caused by their pet.
In case of an emergency, inclement weather or a natural disaster, TheDogRunner is authorised to use reasonable judgment for the care and wellbeing of all dogs.
The Cat's Butler
For visits of 7 days or more, 20% deposit required for cat sitting services, to reserve dates.
Additional 30% payment required prior to start of cat visits.
